It is located on Mugu district of Karnali Zone/Region of Nepal. It is the Largest Lake of Nepal)In Local Language it is called "KACHAURA" (Bowl). it is 3200 meters (10000 Feets) above the sea level.
Its East-West length is 8 kilometer, Width is 1.5 kilometer and deepest is 167 meters. its area is 11 square Kilometers.
